Goa BJP chief Sadanand Shet Tanavade congratulated party workers of two municipalies — Sanguem and Quepem — for party’s victory. “Congratulations to Team #Sanguem & #Quepem on their impressive victory! The results show peoples re-endorsement of leadership and trust in @BJP4Goa. My best wishes to the newly elected councillors in their new responsibilities and the challenges of the ward they are elected,” he said.
Due to covid-19 pandemic, election authorities had directed political leaders to not assemble outside the counting venues.
